The implementation of a rare CA3080 “metal can” integrated circuit (IC) means that the Dyna Comp Mini offers quieter operation, greater transparency, and increased dynamic range that sounds delightfully natural, complementing rather than constraining your natural tone.

Simple controls

The classic dual dial control layout give you everything you need to hone your desired setting. The output knob controls the level coming out of the Dyna Comp and the sensitivity knob sets the compression threshold so that you can vary how pronounced the compression is. The MXR Dyna Comp Mini is a true bypass compressor, which means that when the pedal is not in operation, your dry signal will remain unblemished.

Added "Attack" switch

The Dyna Comp Mini benefits from the addition of an Attack toggle switch, which is designed to select between slow and fast attack times. The attack of the note retains its character without becoming squashed down by the compression effect, without sacrificing any of the gain and sustain on the tail-end of the note. Thanks to this ingenious little addition, the tonal versatility of the pedal is pushed even further!
