Blackstar's Studio 10 6L6 Valve Combo Guitar Amplifier is a small unit packing a huge sound. Inspired by the most revered Class A British and American amps this little number aims to provide the best of both worlds in a compact package that won't break the bank.
The Studio 10 EL34 features a 6L6 output valve for the bright 'American Tone' found in classic amplifiers and an ECC83 (12AX7) in the preamp stage to give you that highly sought after boutique crunch so revered by guitarists the world over. The built-in overdrive circuit takes inspiration from the Blackstar HT-Drive pedal to give you a smooth crunch that will make your legato smooth and your leads sing.
With an expanded frequency range the Seventy-80 gives you a detailed and defined sound. With a tight low end and an assertive upper mid-range, this speaker is capable of a wide variety of sounds. With this latest iteration, the top-end response is increased whilst still retaining that classic Celestion personality.
The Blackstar Studio 10 6L6 includes a footswitchable pre-amp boost for indie rhythm tones and searing leads allowing you to change on the fly between crisp cleans and gritty crunch. There is also an emulated output which allows you to feed the amp signal directly into a PA or recording system without the need for a microphone. A series FX loop allows you to add your FX between the preamp and power amp stage.
