Building on the global success of Tanglewoods Crossroads range of instruments, the design team have created a whole new range of guitars, inspired by the cosmetic of 1940/50’s era US instruments with the class-leading constructional signature of Michael Sanden and the Tanglewood artisanal team. Every Blackbird model is carefully braced to provide a tight bottom end bass note and clear rich high spectrum resonance. We have bound each model in vintage ivory ABS materials to provide the look of Bakelite from the ’40s, and though this won’t affect the sound, it certainly helps give provenance to the historic look Tanglewoods' design team wished to capture.
Tanglewood has both traditional acoustic models and stage-ready electro-acoustic versions available, all featuring the outstanding new Tanglewood Premium Plus Eq system as standard equipment. The rich smoky charcoal stained finish they have christened “Smokestack Black“!
Tanglewoods Blackbird Folk Acoustic has an exquisite hand-selected Mahogany top with Mahogany back and sides provide an extremely warm folksy tone which will settle and mellow over time. The Tanglewood TWBBOE is fitted with Tanglwoods premium electronics to allow the player to go further sonically at an amazing price. This is an ideal guitar for the beginner or intermediate guitar player looking for a solid long-lasting acoustic.
Delivery
Due to unprecedented demand across the courier network, there may be delays experienced in the delivery of orders. However, we will endeavour to dispatch items as quickly as possible.
We offer 3 types of delivery, depending on the items in your basket/shipping destination:
Standard Delivery - typically delivered within 5 to 7 working days.
Large Specialised Delivery - typically delivered within 5 to 7 working days on specialised service for large items. However if your order is over 30kg, then delays might occur.
Installation Service - available for pianos. White glove service where piano will be installed at your home address (UK only)

Please be aware that Software order processing can take between 2 to 3 days to process, depending upon the supplier. In the unlikely event that you experience a longer delay please contact our customer service team for assistance.
Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you can return the item(s) to us within 14 days from receipt and we will issue a full refund. This excludes the delivery charge. Some items are non returnable due to hygiene reasons and these will be clearly marked online. This does not affect your statutory rights.
