The Rotosound Swing Bass 66 are so named because of the year in which they were reinvented and perfected, a year which, thanks to the collaborative efforts of James How and John Entwistle, secured their position in becoming the industry standard bass guitar strings.
Rotosound Swing Bass 66 Strings are popular the world over because of their contribution in shaping the sound of early rock music. They offer everything the discerning bass player could want: a bright, punchy tone with bags of sustain, which formulates a high-energy sound that’s hard to find elsewhere.
You don’t have to take our word for it though, with the Rotosound Swing Bass 66 Strings being popular with players such as: John Entwistle, Billy Sheehan, John Paul Jones and Geddy Lee.
