Ashdown Engineering have been designing a great range of amplifiers since their birth in 1997. It is often the case nowadays that there are few acoustic amplifiers to choose from, but the Woodsman Classic 40W Acoustic Combo is top quality. Mark Gooday of Ashdown Engineering declared that the Woodsman range of amplifiers were produced to "deliver superb sound for a new generation of acoustic guitarists and singers".
One of the main aims behind the construction of the Woodsman Classic 40W Acoustic Combo was to make sure it can stand the test of time. The 40W Acoustic Combo can be used in live performances or in studio sessions, however you can rest assured that it has been built to last, and will never compromise on delivering a beautiful acoustic sound.
A unique feature of the Woodsman range of amplifiers, including this Classic 40W Acoustic Combo, is that it has not one, but two channels. The Woodsman range, as mentioned, is designed for both guitarists and singers; so whether you're a solo artist or form part of a duo, this amplifier has been perfectly tailored for you.
The amplifier is powered by a custom-designed Celestion driver that contributes to the precise and articulate delivery. The acoustic performance is further boosted by the phase reverse as well as the notch filters that exclude any feedback. The Mic channel features an added Tone control while the Guitar channel also has Active and Passive inputs.
The Woodsman Jumbo 65W includes an AUX IN jack allowing the user to plug in any desired MP3, giving you the option to sing and / or play along to your desired tracks.
The Woodsman Classic 40W amp is encased in an enticing vintage-style, carved wooden body with a traditional cloth grill and Ashdown branding. The Woodsman Classic 40W Acoustic Combo is an incredibly flexible amplifier, suitable for practising, recording and performing live.
