Buy an HPi or HP-500 range Roland Piano with the reassurance of a 5-year warranty
Players and the press alike have praised the Roland piano range for decades. In the past 12 months, however, the range has taken enormous strides. Offering an unprecedented range of features throughout, these pianos have never been better value.
Whilst a piano at the lower end of the range is now an incredible bargain, it also means that the premier Roland Piano models are now ludicrously packed with features and represent incredible value. Were that not enough, Roland has announced that pianos from its HPi and recently announced HP-500 range now have a complementary 5-year parts and labour on-site warranty.
At the heart of all of these pianos is Roland’s much lauded SuperNATURAL sound technology. In essence, this removes many of the unpleasant audio artefacts (such as audible sample switching, and looping decay), resulting in a piano sound that is authentically dynamic, full and smooth in performance.
In addition, each model in the HPi and HP-500 range has an ivory feel, progressive hammer action keyboard with escapement. This ensures that the player’s performance is perfectly translated to the piano, providing true piano feel and feedback though the keys.
There are three models in the HP-500 range: the HP-503, HP-505 and HP-507 (each available in satin rosewood and satin black, with the 505 and 507 also available in polished ebony). The HP-505 and HP-507 also feature Roland’s new Acoustic Projection technology. This plays certain aspects of the piano sound through different speakers in different places in the piano cabinet, to replicate how the sound emerges from a real acoustic piano. This also gives the piano a real sense of ‘size’.
The HPi range comprises the HPi-50E, available in rosewood. The feature that defines the HPi Roland piano range is the Digiscore screen. Via this, the pianos are capable of displaying scored music, providing lessons and practice exercises, along with fun games to build skills.
