About Simon McBride
From a youngster who started his guitar playing journey at the age of ten to the globetrotting artist we know today, Belfast native McBride has gone his own way from the beginning. Forgoing traditional music education or guitar teaching, he instead spent countless hours getting intimately acquainted with the licks and riffs of his heroes.
As a mere teenager McBride joined the pro circuit and dove straight into projects that included taking over the axe-wielding duties of Vivian Campbell in Sweet Savage, before moving on to tour in his own right and supporting legends such as Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa to name but a few.
After a brief hiatus to start a family, McBride was back out on the road with Ian Gillan and cruising through Deep Purple tunes aplenty in a show that toured Europe (including a performance at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow).
Touring extensively with his trio that includes Dave Marks (bass) and Marty McCloskey (drums), McBride continues to garner praise from his contemporaries and fans alike, whilst boasting gear endorsements from a host of industry heavyweights.
Simon McBride is a man in demand and we’re incredibly excited to host this unique event in association with BOSS. There is very limited availability for tickets so act quickly to avoid disappointment.
