You love your guitar, you love how it feels and the sound you get when rocking out on stage or at home, but sometimes you want to push the boundaries and expand the amount of sounds you have at your fingertips. The Boss SY-300 polyphonic guitar synthesizer is here to let you tap into a collection of over 160 preset, editable synth sounds and powerful effects, all with zero latency so that you get the best playing experience possible.
Full palette synthesis
With the Boss SY-300 polyphonic guitar synth, you have the power and creative freedom to build up your own sounds from scratch using wave shapes and tweaking them with filter types, amp and pitch control. Layer oscillators for rich, complex tones and modulate with LFO’s, the sounds you can achieve with the SY-300 will definitely make your keyboard player jealous.
A built in step sequencer complete with tap tempo control lets you create instant melodic lines or if you’re feeling more adventurous, use the built in arpeggiator to create complex melodies with a single note on your guitar. The built in cool Blender function even lets you instantly mix and match synth settings from other patches to invent new sounds instantly.
Powerful effects section
To add some inspirational polish to your sound, the Boss SY-300 comes complete with 4 simultaneous effects engines. Each of these dedicated engines contains a large number of effects such as overdrives and distortions, Slow Gear, Isolator, Slicer, and much much more. This powerful arsenal of effects can be used on the synth engine, for your pure guitar signal or even both at once!
Built for performance, the SY-300 gives you plenty of power but without the need for complex controls. 4 built in footswitches let you bypass, scroll and control parameters with ease so you can concentrate on what’s most important… your performance! There are connectivity options to add another two external footswitches or an expression pedal.
For audio, the SY-300 has input, thru, return and line outs in the form of ¼” jack connectors so no matter what your existing setup comprises of, you will be able to integrate it with ease.
Finally, full MIDI and USB connectivity is present so that you can hook it up to a computer for use with DAW software or for use with the Boss Tone studio to create and download new sounds with ease.
