COVID-19 Customer Update

At one of the most difficult times that we have witnessed for generations, the safety and wellbeing of our staff, customers and anyone affected by COVID-19 is of paramount importance to Dawsons Music.

While information is continually changing and being updated, know that we'll keep this page up to date with the latest information regarding the Coronavirus and the implications for Dawsons Music's staff and customers.

Will my Dawsons order be impacted?

At present all online orders are being processed and dispatched as normal with the few exceptions where stock is coming directly from suppliers. The delivery times are remaining the same for now (which varies dependant on your location). When or if any changes occur to our supply chain we will update this page and make announcements via our social media accounts. As ever please don't hesitate to contact us via our customer service team or social media accounts.

Are Dawsons stores open?

As government restrictions around non-essential retail stores are lifted, we will be implementing a phased rollout in the reopening of our stores. As it stands only our Chester and Didsbury stores are open. We are now accepting bookings for 1 on 1 consultations in those stores, and you can book by clicking the store pages below. 

Thank you for your patience and we can't wait to see you in your local Dawsons Music store again soon. You can rest assured that we have put all the necessary provisions in place to keep customers and staff safe.


Face Coverings

The government has made it mandatory for customers to wear a face mask inside shops, however we understand that some individuals may not be able to wear a face mask due to health reasons.

We ask all customers to please adhere to these requirements when visiting your local Dawsons Music store and respect our colleagues at all times. Thank you for your cooperation while we work to keep all our customers and colleagues safe.


Can I still contact you?

Our customer services team is geared up to handle enquiries. Our staff are continuing to work from home where possible, so please expect some longer than normal waiting times. Where possible please email your queries stating any relevant details such as item details, order references, date of purchase and a description of your problem. Due to a reduction in the number of staff working, this can take up to 3 working days, but rest assured that all enquiries will be answered.

This is an unprecedented time for all of us, not only as workers but people, we at Dawsons Music would ask that all our customers and staff adhere to guidelines where possible, stay safe and stay well. We wish the best for all our fellow music retail businesses and everyone across the industry at this most difficult time.

Admittedly, none of what is happening now is what any of us want. We’d rather be looking forward to festivals, parties and tours. However, the reality is that we have got to push forward through a momentous time, but we want to do so responsibly and in support of our colleagues and partners - our friends and their families.
