Posted on 20/05/2014 by Straight off the bat, I encourage you to watch a D'Addario documentary. They KNOW what they're doing. They have their own specific methods, and a huge range of string to choose from. So once you know what's best you can stick to it or try to improve it

D'Addario 10's have always given a beautiful amount of resistance so stop your fingers flying all over in bends, while giving a considerable amount of control over bends.

These are not heavy strings or stiff, they move easily while keeping control, but they are strong. A set of 10's properly set up and stretched, my average is about a year until I snap one, even as a hard rock guitarist.

If you want reliability, durability and quality, trust me there's nothing better than D'Addario, and I've played most of 'em from Fender to Ernie Balls, Martin, Elixer. They'll work for you, once you find the right set for you
