The DR. Tone PSU10 power supply is a must have item for any multi pedal using guitarist. The ingenious design of this pedal means that you can power up to 10 pedals: 8 x 9V pedals making it ideal for powering multiple stompbox style units; as well as having two adjustable outputs that can each power a 6V, 9V or 12V pedal. Therefore, if you happen to have a boutique pedal in amongst your compact units, or a more power hungry bit of gear that requires a little more juice, then DR. Tone have you covered.

The PSU10 layout is very easy to read and understand. LED indicators allow you to quickly identify operational ports, with lights representing the main DC input, the two adjustable outputs, and one for each bank of four 9V outputs. A large On/Off switch is illuminated, making it very easy to see on a dark stage. The unit comes with 10 connectors, which allows you to get on with the task of setting up and playing in no time at all.

The intuitive layout and versatile power output options make it incredibly useful. The team at DR. Tone appreciate that everyone's setup is unique, and have endeavoured to ensure that no pedal needs to be excluded – and the delightfully compact nature of this unit means that your other gear won’t be under intense competition for space on your pedalboard.

When you're doing your thing on stage, it is imperative that you have reliable and robust gear that can take a bit of abuse. The DR. Tone PSU10 is built to take a beating, with a solid chassis that holds up to the most vigorous of tests. Whether you're just setting off on your musical journey, or are a seasoned pro who takes to the stage on a regular basis, the DR. Tone PSU10 is an absolute must for every guitarist, and at this price, it’s an absolute bargain.

Note: Make sure to check the voltage and current requirements of your pedals to make sure they are compatible with the PSU10 before connecting them.

Posted on 01/06/2019 by Bought this from the Manchester store today and plugged it in as soon as I got home. Running a modest sized pedal board, comprised of a Boss DD-7 Delay, CH-1 Chorus, BF-3 Flanger, EHX Bad Stone Phaser, EHX Micro POG and a Fender Reverb, it holds up very well. I was expecting a power surge as soon as I powered it on as this has happened with a cheaper power bank before. This time was a success, no tone was sacrificed and it was a nice change to not have to swap out pedals due to a lack of power supplies. Only one issue: the standard output of the 8 9V ports is only 60 mA but I guess it's better than the alternative for only £30. May even buy another if this doesn't conk out on me. Recommended if you're on a budget but invest in a T-Rex Fuel Tank if money is no issue, just to be on the safe side.
Posted on 01/08/2017 by If you have a couple pedals plugged on, it works fine. If you have the advertised maximum of 10? It just doesn't work, it's not a powerful enough unit. Even with 7 pedals, my bare minimum set up, one or two of the pedals connected on the right hand side of the unit either doesn't work or fails disastrously, making horrible sounds like as if you're permanently plugging and unplugging a cable. If you have less pedals, it works fine, but to be honest five pedals or less and you can just get a snake and a 9v power supply that'll power them all for half the price of this. Thought I'd try it out before I'd spend over £100 on a power supply, but for the amount of pedals I use I have no choice.

So; if you have 5 or less pedals, and want something that looks better than just an adapter and cables, this would be fine. More than 5? Don't even bother, it's completely unreliable
Posted on 18/05/2017 by Used it for 2 years with no issues. Had 6 pedals hooked up including: Boss TU2, ToneGauge Chorus, Tech 21 Boost DLA, CryBaby Wah, Boss Reverb, MXR Micro Amp. Whether using with Marshall head, or small Rivera amp, never had any issues of noise, and I gig every week. Highly recommended!
Posted on 17/05/2015 by Used it for the first time at a gig last night and it worked great. I had no static sound mentioned in the previous post but in fairness I only had 2 pedals attached. Great value for money!
Posted on 08/03/2015 by The power supply is good for the price, it supplies the pedals well and is compact. However the supply is not isolated and not grounded, so if you have a few pedals in a chain then a high pitched static sound will be heard.
If you are looking for a cheap power supply then it's good, but for the long run I would suggest paying a little bit more money and getting an isolated multi-power supply.
