Finally, guitarists who have been craving the amazing sounds of a Leslie cab can now have it all encompassed in a compact yet robust chassis, perfect for your pedal collection. It features a built-in compressor and controls that allow you to create a dynamic, wide range of tones to make your guitar stand out and sound impressive.
The Lester G pedal features a Speed Brake footswitch and a buffered bypass footswitch; the Speed Brake switch is precisely what allows you to alter between Fast and Slow modes, and you can set their individual dials just by moving them to the correct setting to suit the effect speed that you require. It also allows you to enter Brake mode. The buffered bypass switch puts the Lester G either in or out of effect mode.
The real fun can be had with the main control dials on the face of the pedal. An innovative feature of the Lester G is its variable speed controls; a Slow knob allows you to actually recreate a rotary speaker’s actual slow setting, and the rotation speed can be turned up or down. The Fast knob does the opposite, allowing you to play in its Fast setting. The two allow you to alternate between chorus and tremolo type sound settings. The Acceleration control is the middle man when it comes to controlling the rate that the pedal shifts between Fast and Slow mode.
Further controls including Balance and Drive feature on the face of the pedal. Balance allows you to switch between the simulator’s low-frequency rotor and high-frequency horn.
The compressor of the Lester G is its most outstanding feature. Attack, Sustain and Squash controls allow you to control the built-in compressor. To increase or decrease the attack time of the compressor, simply turn the Attack dial up or down. On the other hand, the Sustain dial allows you to control the compression effect, and this can also be increased or decreased. The Squash push button lets you switch between either a normal or squash mode, and Squash mode has a higher compression level.
Featuring stereo inputs and outputs and also a jack for an external expression pedal, you can have endless fun with the Lester G pedal, just power it up using the 9v supply.
