The Epiphone EB-3 SG Bass Guitar brings forth a modern reinvention of a classic guitar. Using an iconic SG shaped, mahogany body and long-scale mahogany neck, genuine Sidewinder neck pickup, and an NYT bridge pickup this bass is jam packed with sustain, tone, and super-cool versatility and vibe.
Following in the footsteps of the legendary SG, the EB-3 Bass Guitar uses the same body that made guitarists all over the world go weak at the knees in the late 1960’s. Built from mahogany the EB-3 provides rich, full tones in a lightweight, yet extremely resilient body.
A mahogany neck using the popular SlimTaper neck profile, gives an amazing, comfortable feel; a much needed quality in any bass guitar. The EB-3 uses a serene rosewood fingerboard sporting 22 frets with stylish trapezoid inlays, for smooth transitioning all across the 34 inch scale length.
Electronics & Hardware
Perfectly complimenting the light, yet rich tones of the mahogany body are the two Epiphone branded humbucking pickups. Equipped with a Sidewinder humbucker in the neck position and an NYT “mini-humbucker” in the bridge position, the EB-3 Bass Guitar offers fat, juicy tones, giving your bass grooves even more depth.
Also featuring a retro style three-position pickup selector, the EB-3 provides a multitude of ways to change your tonal variety and frequency response. Each pickup is controlled by two volume knobs and two tone knobs.
Other features include four classic style premium machine heads, a fully adjustable bridge and all-nickel hardware, contrasting against the lavish cherry finish.
