Details

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60s Electric Guitar models classic-era Les Paul guitars as part of Epiphones all-new 'Inspired by Gibson' range. Combining classic vintage aesthetic and specs with modern build quality, this guitar oozes timeless class whilst remaining a thoroughly modern instrument. When Les Paul built his famous 'Log' guitar in the 1940s at the Epiphone factory in Manhattan it was the beginning of a long-lasting relationship between the two that would result in a swathe of incredible guitars over the years.

Mahogany Body

A solid Mahogany body paired with a Maple cap gives this guitar the look and sound of a vintage instrument. The warmth and sustain of Mahogany make a perfect combination with the bright and snappy response of a AA Flame Maple cap, resulting in a tone machine that will satisfy all of your rock, blues and metal needs. With the Les Paul Standard 60s, there's no weight relief so you'll feel the heft of this guitar, which is all part of the Les Paul experience.

Mahogany Neck

The Les Paul Standard 60s has a Mahogany neck to match the body and promote stability and sustain. Shaped to the Slim Taper 60s C profile, this neck gives you a classic feel in hand, broad enough for chord playing but sleek enough higher up the neck to let those blues lead licks sizzle off 22 fret fretboard. Composed of Indian Laurel, the fretboard feels smooth under your fingers, giving you a comfortable playing platform that's perfect for riffing, bending, sliding and every other myriad guitar technique.

ProBucker Pickups

Two ProBucker Pickups deliver crisp and articulate tones, perfect for rock and the styles around it. There's no mud here, these pickups translate your playing in a clear fashion with a nice high output. The bridge pickup excels in the midrange whilst the neck gives plenty of body, with detailed low end and a bit of percussive treble tone. CTS Electronics ensure that vintage tone abounds here, with a three-way pickup selector plus two volume and tone knobs giving you plenty of scope for sonic sculpting.

Hardwearing Hardware

The Les Paul Standard 60s has a LockTone ABR Tune-o-Matic bridge with a Stopbar tailpiece to ensure fantastic intonation and an easily adjustable action. Working in conjunction with the Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuning machines you get tuning stability that won't let you down no matter how hard you strum.

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60s Electric Guitar is designed to recreate the sound of 1960s era Les Pauls with its mix of classic vibes and modern build quality. An all out tone machine, this guitar will turn heads for both its look and sound whether you're on stage or in the studio.
