The Epiphone New Century Zenith Masterbilt Electro Acoustic Guitar revives the classic models of the 1930s, made during the "Big Band" era and renowned for their warmth, wide tonal range, and unabashed power. Alongside classic features, these models include modern appointments that allows today's performers to plug in and play through an amplifier, without losing anything of the guitar's acoustic charm.
Sophisticated medium-sized acoustic
The New Century Zenith Masterbilt is designed to offer the perfect accompaniment to solo performers, such as singer/songwriters, as well as ensemble players. To achieve a well-rounded timbre, the back and sides are built using laminated flame maple to establish a hearty mid range energy foundation. Epiphone has added longitudinal bracing to support the top, and ensure that over time - and the more that the guitar is performed with -, the timbre will only get better and better. Each model has been treated to a vintage sheen finish to preserve the integrity of the wood for as long as possible.
Solid neck and fingerboard partnership
Fitted to the body is a sturdy and responsive neck, which is shaped to a comfortable profile to produce a heavenly playing feel. Married to the neck is a rosewood fingerboard, which is home to 20 frets that are adorned with Mother-of-Pearl inlays to guide your way in style. At the top of the neck you'll find the headstock, which bears the "Epiphone Zenith Masterbilt" inlay. This sits between the 1930's era replica tuners that have been upgraded to a reassuringly steadfast 18:1 ratio, which uphold tuning integrity with precision.
eSonic HD preamp system and NanoFlex HD pickups
To reproduce the unique acoustic tones of the Masterbilt Zenith models faithfully, Epiphone has equipped each guitar with the fantastic partnership of the eSonic HD preamp system with a low-impedance NanoFlex HD pickup. This combo works tirelessly to translate the richness and depth of tone as accurately as possible. The controls are safely tucked away in the f-hole of the guitar, whilst the jack output resides just below the tailpiece.
If a harmonious blend of old and new is what you crave, then the Epiphone New Century Zenith Masterbilt electro acoustic guitar is the perfect choice.
