Posted on 17/03/2020 by This is a very robust little practice amp and its uncomplicated electronics make it a very useful bit of kit for testing out pedals/preamps/pickups etc. The two channel design means you can even practice playing live. It’s very lightweight and is surprisingly loud.

The only caveat I would offer is that its single speaker design is not always conducive to a clean acoustic tone when the volume is cranked. The concept of headroom isn’t usually applied to acoustic amps but this one is almost too loud for its own good! Nevertheless it is good value for its low price, even taking in the lack of reverb - and it’s much better suited to ukulele amplification than those amps specifically advertised as such.
