The Fender American Elite Precision MN Bass Guitar is designed to exceed the demands of modern players. Boasting the same sublime curves that have made the Precision Bass such a beloved model for decades, Fender has added some excellent new appointments to give it a snarling edginess that suits those with hard rocking tendencies. Whether you're an amateur looking for their dream bass, or a pro looking for a reliable touring partner, this model looks, sounds, and plays like a dream.

Sophisticated Precision Bass Style

The American Elite Precision Bass is built using ash, a lightweight tonewood that produces a balanced timbre with a generous warmth. Lows rumble, mids jump out with glee, and higher notes sing beautifully, making it a fantastic all-rounder. The slender body depth works harmoniously with the sleek curves to create one of the most comfortable playing experiences you'll ever find. The body is coated in a layer of gloss polyurethane to protect the paintwork and tonewood from changes in temperature and humidity - making it a great bass to hit the road with.

Improved Neck Design

The model boasts an updated neck profile design, where the super-slim modern "C" profile is carved into a "D" profile towards the neck heel, making it even more comfortable to play than ever before. The new truss rod adjustment wheel is moved to the base of the neck, and can be easily adjusted to ensure intonation and sustain is upheld dutifully. Posiflex graphite support rods run along the length of the neck to guarantee stability, whilst also resisting warping caused by changes in temperature and humidity. Paired with the neck is a glorious maple fingerboard, which is home to 21 medium jumbo frets that are adorned with pearloid dot position inlays. The back of the neck has been finished in satin urethane to allow you to move at speed along the neck without being hindered by a tacky-feeling surface.

New N4 Noiseless Pickups

Fender have installed a Noiseless N4 split single-coil pickup in the bridge position - giving you fat tones without the unwanted hissing or buzzing - and a Noiseless N4 single-coil pickup in the neck position - creating a super-snappy sound with bite and precision.

At your fingertips are a range of controls that allow you to sculpt the tone to exactly how you want it; with treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut, midrange boost, active/passive mini-toggle switch, and master volume control. The tonal versatility of this Deluxe P bass is impressive but its ability to master virtually any musical style from funk to country, punk to jazz is remarkable; for session and live musicians, it is an absolute gem. Not only that, but a mini toggle switch allows you to switch from a passive output to a whopping 18V active EQ powered output, with additional controls to aid in the sculpting and shaping of your tones.

A 4-saddle high-mass vintage bridge is fitted to ensure the strings' connection to the body is as seamless as possible, whilst Fender lightweight vintage-style tuning machines with tapered shafts maintain tuning integrity throughout each and every performance. The lower wing of the body is protected from nicks and scrapes thanks to the perfectly positioned pickguard.
