Since its introduction back in the 1950s, the Tele' has never wavered in popularity, thanks to its adoption by some of the most celebrated musical luminaries, including: Albert Lee, Muddy Waters, Keith Richards, Joe Strummer, Chris Shiflett, and John 5 to name but a few - thanks to the Telecaster's comfortable playability, wide ranging tonal palette, and highly versatile control setup. The Fender Classic Series 50s Telecaster Lacquer electric guitar exudes the sophisticated charm of the 1950s Tele'. The team at Fender have pored over every detail to ensure that this model has the looks, the tones, and the feel that evokes the vibe that made the original such a beloved guitar.

The body has been crafted using ash, a dense tonewood that has a delightfully timbre, producing complex tones that are filled to the brim with warmth. The body has been completed in a white blonde finish, which has been treated to a coating of gloss nitrocellulose lacquer that adheres to the original '50s finish for total authenticity. Fitted to the body is a 3-saddle American Vintage strings-through-body Tele' bridge with chrome barrel saddles. The saddles make intonation control very simple, enabling you to adjust and modify the action and intonation with the greatest of ease.

Fitted to the body using a bolt-on construction and made from a Fender favourite, is a delightful maple neck. Shaped to a "C"-shape profile, the neck provides a substantial yet comfortable feel in the hand, whilst the back of the neck has been given a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish - again adhering to the original spec, but also to prevent tackiness from affecting the playability of the neck. Paired with the neck is a 21 vintage-style fret maple fingerboard, adorned with black dot position inlays to aid in your navigation.

The Fender Classic Series '50s Telecaster Lacquer is equipped with a vintage-style single-coil Tele' pickups in the neck and bridge positions. This pair is provides the quintessential twang and tones that Telecaster's are renowned for. Control comes in the form of master volume and master tone pots, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. The setup may be simple but the range of tones from this beauty makes it great for many musical styles from country to hard rock.

The Fender Classic Series 50s Telecaster Lacquer electric guitar in white blonde is a gorgeous guitar that brings the original model to life. If you’ve been looking to get your hands on a classic model – but don’t fancy the price tag that comes with it - then this is the one for you.
