Taking inspiration from their enviable back-catalogue, the Fender Classic Series re-imagines classic instruments and offers today’s players a chance to own a piece of history, without having to re-mortgage their home to do so. With vintage styling and period-correct details, the Fender Classic Series '60s Stratocaster is one such instrument, giving you a taste of the model that became the very symbol of ‘60s counter culture.
Classic Strat body
The body is shaped to the instantly recognisable double-cutaway body shape that has become an iconic design. With ergonomically designed curves and sleek contours that enable you to cradle the guitar in your arms, the Strat is synonymous with supreme playing comfort. The body is built using a Fender favourite in alder, a lightweight and tonally balanced wood that establishes the Stratocaster's versatile foundation. Whether you're performing blues, jazz, rock, or pop, the Stratocaster is perfect for taking on any musical style. The body has been treated to a cool Lake Placid Blue finish, which is protected by a layer of polyester to prevent premature wear. Paired with this is a 3-ply mint green pickguard and aged white plastic to set off the classic series vibe.
Fitted to the body is a supportive maple neck, which is shaped to Fender's popular "C"-shape profile to fuse together comfort and stability. A slender coating of gloss urethane prevents unwanted stickiness or tackiness from affecting mobility as you perform. Paired with the neck is a delightful pau ferro fingerboard, which is home to 21 frets that are adorned with dot position inlays to guide your way. Carved to a 7.25-inch radius, you are afforded a smooth surface to execute clean string bends on with the greatest of ease.
Giving voice to the guitar are three vintage-style single-coil Strat' pickups, which offer a sublime range of tones for you to play with. Control over the pickups is offered via a modern 5-way selector switch, offering everything from thick and beefy to crisp and tight. Accompanying master volume, and dual tone pots allow you to sculpt your output with precision.
The body is home to a vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, which anchors each string securely whilst supporting peerless vibrato control. The headstock is home to vintage-style tuning machines that allow you to make adjustments on the fly, whilst upholding integrity dutifully throughout the most demanding of performances. Every model is supplied with a deluxe gig bag to get your Fender Classic Series 60s Stratocaster PF Guitar from home to the studio, a jam session, or a gig, in safety and style.
