The Fender Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Triple Jazzmaster Guitar in Daphne Blue is a sublime rendition of the classic model. Originally released at the 1958 NAMM Show, the Jazzmaster was to be Fender's top-of-the-line successor to the Tele' and the Strat'. Adopted by players from all backgrounds and genres, the Jazzmaster has become a favourite amongst those who pursue tonal experimentation. Combining vintage-style features alongside contemporary appointments, this model takes things up a notch and will satisfy the most demanding of guitarists.
Classic offset body
The 60th Anniversary Triple Jazzmaster is shaped to the unique offset waist design, which was originally conceived to accommodate the playing needs of Jazz guitarists at the time. Whether you're performing whilst seated or standing, the offset design allows the body to sit just right.
The Triple Jazzmaster is built using alder, a Fender favourite thanks to its lightweight and comfortable feel combined with a balanced tonal output. The softly rounded edges establish a figure-hugging feel, allowing you to cradle the guitar comfortably and perform with ease. The paintwork is protected by a resilient coating of gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, which upholds the longevity of the Daphne Blue finish for as long as possible.
Durable maple neck
Joined to the body is a supple and supportive maple neck, which is shaped to the '60s oval "C" profile for a substantial feel in the hand. The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish prevents unwanted stickiness or tackiness from impeding your movement. Married to the neck is a sumptuous rosewood fingerboard, which is home to 21 narrow-tall frets that are decorated with pearloid dot position inlays. The narrow tall fret design pairs well with the 9.5-inch radius to create a flat and smooth feel to promote lightning fast transitions across the fingerboard. The 25.5-inch scale length ensures that string tension is immaculate and sustain endures beautifully.
Tim Shaw-Designed Custom pickups
The Fender Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Triple Jazzmaster gets its name from the trio of Tim Shaw Designed Custom pickups fitted in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. These beauties are designed to maximise the tonal potential of the Jazzmaster, offering everything from a focused low-end energy to sparkling highs with a rapid-fire pick attack.
A departure from the traditional Jazzmaster wiring setup, there is a 5-way pickup selector switch with corresponding master volume and master tone controls. This is combined with a 2-way toggle switch that expands your tonal arsenal even further.
The Fender Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Triple Jazzmaster Guitar in Daphne Blue is equipped with a 9.5-inch radius Jazzmaster/Jaguar bridge with vintage-style floating tremolo, which has a tremolo lock button and screw-in tremolo arm. You can execute smooth vibrato control with incredible dexterity. The headstock is home to pure vintage single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuning machines, which uphold tuning integrity with precision. Each model is supplied with a unique Fender vintage-style tweed case with embroidered 60th Anniversary logo and strung with Fender USA strings to get you off to a flying start.
