Description

Details

The Fender Made in Japan Traditional 60s Jazzmaster Guitar in Pink Paisley is a limited-edition piece that would make a welcome addition to any guitarist's collection. The unique styling complements that Jazzmaster's unique character, offering up a worthy tribute to this legendary model.

Classic Jazzmaster style

The Fender Short Run (FSR) Jazzmaster adheres to the classic '60s model by utilising the same offset waist design that we've all come to know and love. Built using alder, the body retains a lightweight and highly playable feel, with the added bonus of generating a balanced tonal character. The eye-catching Pink Paisley finish immediately commands attention, and is protected by a polyester finish to preserve its vibrancy for as long as possible.

Solid maple neck

Joined to the body is a substantial maple neck that is connected using a sturdy 4-bolt construction. Carved to the "U"-shape profile, the neck establishes a firm yet supple playing experience. Thanks to the polyester finish, the neck ages well and is extremely durable throughout the most demanding of performances. Married to the neck is a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, which is adorned with understated white dot position inlays. The rounded 7.25-inch radius matches that on the original '60s model and follows the natural curve of the hand so that you can perform seamless string bends and lightning fast licks with ease.

Versatile electronics

The MIJ Traditional '60s Jazzmaster is equipped with a pair of single-coil Jazzmaster pickups, which boast the intricate yet intuitive control setup that makes the Jazzmaster such a beloved model for tonal experimentalists. You'll find a 3-position toggle switch for selecting either pickup individually or both simultaneously. There is a 2-position slide switch for accessing either the Rhythm or Lead tone circuits; then you get into further tone shaping and volume levels controls for exploring a vast tonal universe. Whether you're performing tight and articulate pop chops, hardcore punk or blurring the lines by blending genres at will, the Jazzmaster is a masterful collaborator to work with.

Gig-ready hardware

The body is home to a 6-saddle vintage-style adjustable bridge that allows you to set your string action meticulously. Paired with the bridge is a floating tremolo tailpiece, and this partnership anchors each string securely whilst affording dynamic vibrato control. The headstock bears chrome die-cast tuning machines that maintain tuning integrity with precision, allowing you to rock out in confidence.

The Fender Made in Japan Traditional 60s Jazzmaster Guitar in Pink Paisley is simply breath-taking. Each model is supplied with a gig bag to get you from home to gig and back again with ease.
