Since it was first issued in 1958, the Fender Jazzmaster has become a solid favourite amongst guitarists from that day to this. Owing to its quality and looks, the Jazzmaster has stood the test of time and the Fender Player Series Jazzmaster Guitar is here once again proving how versatile and powerful these legendary guitars are.
Fender knows what makes a high-quality guitar and they have stuck to the classic mix of an alder body complete with a maple neck. Alder helps to provide a clean and solid tone whilst being of a comfortable weight. Alder is used on a vast array of Fender guitars and for good reason.
The maple neck of the Fender Player Jazzmaster is shaped to a modern "C" profile allowing for a naturally comfortable feel. The satin urethane finish of the neck means that even over longer performances, you will avoid any clamminess that can sometimes build up when you have an intensive performance.
The neck plays home to a Pau Ferro fingerboard complete with 22 medium-jumbo frets and positional dot inlays.
The Player Series Jazzmaster Electric Guitar comes with 2 versatile and powerful Player Series Alnico 2 Humbuckers, one in the neck position and one in the bridge position. These rich and clear pickups perform with effortless finesse. Snappy clean tones and huge thick distorted leads can all be achieved thanks to the amount of control you have.
As well as master volume and tone controls the Player Series Jazzmaster also comes with a 3-way pickup selector and a push / pull switch on the second tone control for coil splitting. Finally, the Fender Standard Jazzmaster is adorned with chrome hardware including the vintage style, floating tremolo bridge that offers awesome sustain.
This legendary guitar has proved popular for well over 50 years and the Fender Standard Jazzmaster HH Electric Guitar gives you the chance to own a timeless classic for life.
