The portable bass amp, re-invented

The Fender Rumble 40 V3 Bass Guitar Combo Amplifier is part of the third generation of the popular and portable Rumble Series, which strives to push the series further than ever before. Re-imagined from the ground up, this new series is designed to be lighter, louder and more powerful than its forefathers, whilst retaining the classic Fender tone. The Fender Rumble 40 V3 excels at showcasing what the series is all about with 40-watts powering through a 10” speaker for an all-encompassing bass tone.

Pick me up

Although powerful, the Fender Rumble 40 V3 still retains its portability, making it the ideal amp for gigging, as well as rehearsing and practicing. The chassis has been designed for the purpose of transportation, with a black vinyl covering and heavy-duty nickel corners ensuring the integrity of the amp.

More of a style change than one of speaker protection, the Fender Rumble 40 V3 has a cloth speaker cover, rather then the metal grille of the previous generation. This has been branded with the classic Fender logo, which complements the vintage-style, ivory control knobs nicely, the result is a clean vintage visage that will look great on any stage.

New control

Alongside the Volume control and Three-band EQ is a Contour switch for activating the newly developed overdrive circuit, which also be activated via a footswitch. You also have a three-button voicing palette, to dial in powerful tones that are usable at any gig.

Offering the best of classic, tried and tested design and mixing it with innovative new technology, the Fender Rumble 40 V3 Bass Guitar Combo Amplifier is squarely aimed at giving you the best sound whilst remaining portable and it does this very well. Because this is a Fender, you can be assured of incredible build quality too.

Posted on 04/04/2018 by For rockabilly double bass slapping this is a cracking little amp.Plenty of volume to keep up with a snare and bass drum played with sticks or brushes in practice, for gigging just DI out the back of the amp to the PA.The best thing about the amp is the sound,I don't use the overdrive or the 3 button presets, there is a enough tonal scope with 4 band Eq for double bass.I use a K and K Bass max pickup stright in to the amp with out a preamp and it sounds great. The stock speaker is nice, nice warm tight sound with a good bottom end.I use Superior Bassworks strings and the 10'' speaker really suits this sound.Great 50's type sound for rockabilly. But this amp can do modern sounds just as well.IT'S A GOOD AMP.
