The Fender Sonoran SCE Thinline takes one of the most comfortable and playable electro-acoustic guitars available and makes it even more comfortable and playable by swapping out the body for a 3” deep “tight” dreadnought body. Now you’ve got no excuse not to bring it with you on your travels. The Fender Sonoran SCE Thinline guitar also benefits from the 2012 updates to the California series, with a vintage-style “Viking” rosewood bridge with compensated bone saddle and bone nut increasing volume and clarity and a more stable three-ply gold pickguard.
All the classics of the Sonoran are in place. Standing out from the guitars body and the pickguard is a checkerboard-design rosette that continues along the body and neck binding. In pride of place at the top of the neck is the Strat headstock giving the Fender Sonoran SCE Thinline the contemporary look that Sonorans are known for.
The Fender Sonoran SCE Thinline features a solid spruce top with scalloped X bracing partnered with mahogany back & sides to give you both rich resonance and a mellow tone. As well as being slim the body is also a cutaway to give you easy access to the upper frets. The C-shaped Strat maple neck gives comfortable and fast playability whilst the dual-action truss rod ensures stability is steadfast.
With the Fishman Isys III pickup system with active preamp onboard you will never be worried about being heard. Along with projecting your performance loud and clear the Fishman Isys III also gives you control over bass, mid and treble. It also features a handy built-in tuner and a low battery indicator.
