Revised for 2013 the Fender T-Bucket Bass E sees the fantastic electro-acoustic gain some upgrades to an already stellar line up, with new features including a holographic rosette inlay and a 12th-fret “F” logo inlay. A classic combination has been utilised when constructing the Fender T-Bucket Bass E’s grand concert body shape, with a flame maple top and mahogany back & sides. Strengthened with quarter-sawn scalloped "X" bracing the flamed maple top looks resplendent under the 3-colour sunburst and offers a bright sound, along with bringing emphasis to the upper-mids and higher frequencies. The mahogany used for the back & sides evens out the tone of the guitar with its strength in the treble and bass.

The stunning flame top is offset nicely with a body binding and the new holographic rosette inlay highlights the soundhole.

The use of mahogany continues with the Fender T-Bucket Bass E’s neck, ensuring its sturdiness. This has been carved to the comfortable C shape profile, and offers a 32" medium scale length. Topping this a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and dot inlays, along with a Fender “F” logo inlay at the 12th-fret.

Matching the fingerboard is a rosewood bridge with a Graphtech NuBone compensated saddle, which together with the Graphtech NuBone nut further enhance the tone of the Fender T-Bucket Bass E Electro Acoustic Bass Guitar.

In addition to a good choice of woods the Fender T-Bucket Bass E sets you up with the necessaries to hook up to an amp or PA, with the inclusion of a Fishman Isys III pickup system with active preamp.

Along with being able to fill larger venues, the Fishman Isys III also gives you a few extra controls straight from the shoulder of the T-Bucket Bass E. As well as controlling volume levels, you have access to a three-band EQ, for tone shaping, and a built-in chromatic tuner.

Customer Reviews
T-Bucket Fender Bass Guitar
Posted on 23/03/2013 by Mundharp I just bought me one of these babies. A well-made and good-looking instrument. Sounds just fine acoustic, or plugged in there is a good range of tones from the piezo pick up. It is a great value and versatile bass guitar. I had to pay extra for a case. If you are going to purchase one (My recommendation) make sure you budget to buy it a hard case!
