The Fender Tone Master Twin Reverb Combo Guitar Amplifier is the latest iteration of the classic clean guitar amp, with a twist. The Twin Reverb is a music icon in its own right. Prized by guitarists worldwide you'll find one of these in pretty much every recording studio and since its inception in the mid-60s, it has become an indispensable tool in the guitarists and recording engineers arsenal. With a base level clean tone to die for the Twin Reverb takes pedals incredibly well, providing a rock-solid backline for some of the most gorgeous guitar tones you can imagine.

Twin Tube Tone

The Tone Master Twin Reverb achieves a remarkable feat, utilising digital processing power to faithfully model the original circuitry of an 85-watt original Twin tube amp. With a 200-watt digital power amp, the Tone Master Twin Reverb achieves the dynamic range and headroom of a vintage tube amp that is virtually indistinguishable from the original.

Jensen Neodymium Speakers

The two Jensen N-12K neodymium speakers ensure that you get the sparkle and clarity that's a staple of the Fender clean tone. These speakers are based upon original, highly sought after designs that were used in the original 60s era Fender Twin Reverb amplifiers, ensuring you get that exceptional Twin tube tone used on countless records.

Vintage Controls, Modern Connectivity

The Tone Master Twin Reverb has a true recreation of the world-renowned Twin Reverb front panel, with Fenders world-standard Reverb and Tremolo present and accounted for. The panel will be familiar to anyone who's used a Twin Reverb amplifier and is identical to the original. Look to the rear and you will find all the modern convenience and flexibility you'd expect in a contemporary amplifier, including output power selector for attenuated settings, great for quiet practice, as well as XLR line out with Impulse Response cabinet simulations, mute switch for silent stage or recording use and a USB port for firmware updates.

Quality Construction

Everything is housed in a resonant pine cabinet to ensure that this amp sings when on stage. Its tube-less construction makes it half the weight of an all-tube Twin Reverb, making it far more accommodating for the touring musician. Matched with the classic silver-face on black cabinet looks plus Vintage-Style Skirted Black Plastic controls, it looks identical to its all-tube counterpart.

The Fender Tone Master Twin Reverb Combo Guitar Amplifier gives you incredible Twin tube tone without the inconvenience of back-breaking weight or maintenance. Fender has pushed the boat out with this latest iteration of the Twin Reverb, a bold first in guitar amplifier construction that gives you all-tube tone quality with solid-state versatility and convenience.

Posted on 25/10/2019 by I owned and gigged a 1972 Fender Twin Reverb with JBL speakers for twenty years, finally having to let it go because of it's colossal weight.
Two days ago I ordered the new Tone Master version and gigged it last night and I was not disappointed.
I was a little sceptical being an avid tube fan and owning Boogies, Voxes, Matchless etc, but this amp did the business and reacted in every way the same as the valve version did for all of those years. It's as light as a feather and I'll be keeping it . Recommended !
