Want to record your demos on the move with minimal fuss and excellent sound quality? The Focusrite iTrack Solo may just be the answer to your prayers. Ideal for the growing number of musicians using iPads to create music, this interface puts the focus on sound quality by using top grade preamps found in other top Focusrite interfaces.
The Focusrite iTrack Solo Lightning Compatible Audio Interface is equipped with two inputs with separate gain dials that let you connect guitar and microphones separately, great for recording a live performance for editing later on down the line. "Halo" style rings around the gain dials are fitted for easy to see signal status and to make sure your signal isn't clipping.
The large dial on the front of the Focusrite iTrack Solo controls the level of both the phono speaker outs and the headphone output. A direct monitoring switch lets you direct audio directly from the input to the outputs so you can hear what's going in to the unit with no latency, a practical necessity for good performances. Although very much an iPad focused interface, the iTrack Solo Lightning will work on both Mac and PC platforms and includes Ableton Live Lite software, letting you start recording quickly and easily.
This version of the iTrack solo features a device link port that allows you to connect it to an iOS device with a Lightning port opening up capable compatibility and taking advantage of the ultra fast data transfer speeds. This version is compatible with iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina Display, iPad (4th generation) and iPad Air.
