Description

Details

The Gretsch Streamliner collection have until this point been a variety of hollow and semi-hollow electric guitars. Gretsch always looking to add something a little more exciting to the lines have produced an extraordinary guitar. A solid body streamliner with a classic look at an outstanding price.

Solid sound

The Gretsch G2210 Streamliner Junior Jet Club has a Nato body. Nato is very similar in characteristics to Mahogany providing warm tones with a good sustain, Nato is the perfect choice for a simple rock machine. This guitar is meant to be a strong workhorse, simple and effective. The Nato body has a Nato neck for tonewood consistency meaning the tone is consistent throughout the guitar.

Rest on your Laurels

The fingerboard that sits atop the Nato neck is made from Laurel a snappy tonewood with a slight reddish accent this wood provides a firm responsive fretting experience. There are 22 medium jumbo frets in a 12" radius which is perfect for aggressive chords and no choke soloing. The Pearloid Beo-Classic thumbnail inlays keep the fretboard clear while still highlighting the correct fret in a subtle and aesthetically pleasing way.

Broad'Tron power

The Broad'Tron humbuckers are the perfect fit for this guitar. With an articulated mid-range and dirty lows controlled by master volume and tone controls, the pickups give the player a healthy range of sonic possibilities with which to express and are ideal for punky, rock style players.

The Gretsch G2210 Streamliner Junior Jet Club is an untamed beast ready to be put through its paces. It retains the Gretsch ethos of affordable quality and while it sits in the price range ideal for a first electric guitar it has the quality to be a great live workhorse. With Gretsch's exquisite touches with regards to the choice of Bridge and tortoiseshell pick-guard, the G2210 will be a guitar you won't want to put down.
