A 225-watt amplifier drives the high-strength light-weight Kevlar woofer which delivers a dynamic low-end punch complimented by the front end bass port, all behind a removable solid grill which adds to the overall sleek appearance of the unit. The KRK12s has full and extensive bass management complete with full phase adjust and reverse, LFE input capability, internal and deflatable limiter and both balanced and unbalanced inputs. Further to this, a foot pedal can be plugged in to remotely defeat the sub.
Whether you are mixing a high energy track with heavily implemented subsonic frequencies or attempting to pick out unwanted low frequency components such as microphone rumble or exterior noise the KRK12s delivers effortlessly. The KRK12s also comes with a built in crossover which can be switched in and out of the path when the sub is muted which allows full range material to be compared with or without subsonic content. All combined, subsonic frequencies can be heard accurately, which means they can be mixed accurately.
