The Laney Ironheart IRT-SLS 300-Watt Guitar Amplifier Head packs a mighty punch for its size and weight, making this a dream for those who want a recording/touring partner that won't break the bank. Laney know a thing or two about crafting epic rock hardware that can stand the test of time and face the rigours of the road, and the Black Country borne Ironheart IRT-SLS is no exception to this rule.
The IRT-SLS boasts three channels to choose from - Clean, Rhythm and Lead. Across the front panel you'll find a plethora of controls that unlock the immense power that lies within this beast. Between the three you have everything that you could need from crisp cleans to raucous overdriven lead tones. There is a vast arsenal of tonal possibilities for you to exploit across the push-pull EQ knobs, enabling you to make the most of the ECC83 valves and smooth solid-state poweramp.
The IRT-SLS isn't just a gigging powerhouse, it is also a highly competent digital interface for recording crystal clear tracks in the studio too. The T-USB interface supplies both a dry and a processed signal that are split left and right respectively when passed to your DAW, enables you to manipulate your original recording with limitless potential without having to go back and re-track your parts.
The IRT-SLS features internal dummy load, which means that you can use it without a cabinet connect for silent recording without any loss of tone. Recording directly from the T-USB is enhanced by the studio quality cabinet emulation options, perfect for laying down ideas straight to your DAW of choice via PC/Mac/iPad/Android.
The Ironheart IRT-SLS features a switchable output power option that allows you to choose between a standard power mode for between 1 to 60 Watts RMS, ideal for home practise, jamming, small gigs and recording applications. You can also opt for the high-power mode, which ramps up the output from between 3 to 300 watts RMS, ideal for the aforementioned applications as well as larger gigs where you're competing with larger rigs.
The Ironheart IRT-SLS is equipped with built in digital reverb to give your tone the breadth and depth needed to fill any performance space or recording requirements. Simply dial in the level of reverb that you desire and you're good to go.
As we've come to expect from the team at Laney, the Ironheart IRT-SLS is built to take any punishment thrown its way on the road. The durable chassis provides substantial protection so that you can rest assured that it can travel wherever your music takes you.
