The Mackie SRM350 V3 2-Way Active Loudspeaker is designed to perform peerlessly at high sound pressure levels. Built to improve upon the success of its predecessor, the SRM450, the SRM350 features improved electronics in a more compact form. Whether you're performing at home, practising in the studio, taking to the stage, or performing outdoors, the Mackie SRM350 is the perfect choice to ensure that you're heard loud and clear.

Powerful and efficient

The Mackie SRM350 V3 2-Way Active Loudspeaker utilises a 10-inch high-power low-frequency woofer, as well as a 1.4-inch titanium diaphragm high-output precision compression driver. Each driver has been designed by Mackie's expert engineers for optimum performance in the lightweight high-strength cabinet. The high-frequency driver produces a highly articulate off-axis response for mid, upper-mid and high frequencies, which guarantees that everyone in the crowd hears your mix with the utmost clarity, in high-definition.

A pair of amplifiers have been employed with the task of powering the transducers in the most efficient way possible. They are a Class H design, which uses a dual power supply for improved power and thermal efficiency. The amplifiers operate at a low voltage, with increased power on-hand when required. The Active Protection Management System monitors the outputs levels from each amplifier, as well as the operating temperature. Should clipping occur, a limiter reduce the input signal to a safer level. If the temperature of either amplifier runs too hot, the input signal is adjusted to keep temperature at a desired level.

Mackie has included a Dynamic Bass Boost circuit in the low frequency amplifier, which attenuates low frequencies below 70Hz to a more comfortable level for audience members. Not only does this make the mix more pleasant to hear, it also improves the efficiency of the amplifier, by allowing it to focus energy on frequencies where it counts.

Linkwitz-Riley Crossover Design

Mackie's team of engineers have integrated a 24 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley crossover design, which is praised for its absolutely flat frequency response without the characteristic ripple near the crossover point. The sharp 24 dB per octave roll-off of the filters ensures that the transducers aren’t reproducing frequencies outside of their capabilities. Power is optimised for greater accuracy at the crossover frequency.

Robust Cabinet

The SRM350 cabinet is designed with strength at its core to enable it to withstand the knocks and bumps that come with moving equipment around. The outer casing is as strong as concrete, and rigid enough to prevent unwanted vibrations in the cabinet. A socket is provided in the bottom of the cabinet for mounting the speaker on a tripod stand. Not only that, but the wedge shape allows you to use the SRM350 as a reliable stage monitor speaker too.
