With its robust design, complex tonality, and not forgetting delightfully comfortable playability, the MR-10SCE NS isn’t just for entry-level players, but an awesome model that all guitarists will fall in love with.

Exquisite Tonewoods

The Marina MR-10SCE NS benefits from a solid spruce top, which has been selected due to its highly resonant characteristics. This makes it the perfect soundboard, which encourages to the timbre of the body to be projected with the utmost efficacy to establish a wide dynamic range. Not only that, but as it is a solid tonewood, it will mature during its lifetime, allowing it to develop a truly unique tone and mature beautifully. The spruce top is paired with mahogany back and sides – a fantastic tonewood combination that combines power and versatility -, and has been treated to a natural satin finish.

Solid Construction

The rich tone cutaway body dimensions make the MR-10SCE accommodating for players of all ages and playing styles, responding generously to widely strummed chords, yielding gently to fingerpicked notes, and crisply delivering tapped out melodies. Players who have a limited reach, or who’d prefer to play a model with a smaller scale design than that of a dreadnought will greatly appreciate the smaller stature of the grand auditorium.

As with the more compact body dimensions, the nato neck is also designed to be much easier to navigate, featuring a slender profile that is very easy to get to grips with. Paired with a smooth yet solid sonokelin fingerboard, whilst the satin finish creates a smooth and seamless playing feel along the neck. The single-cutaway profile makes it incredibly easy to access the neck in its entirety.

The MR-10SCE NS is perfect for the gigging musician, with the Fishman Presys Blend electronics system ensuring a fantastic, accurate representation of the tonewood’s timbre. Not only that but the system even has an onboard tuner, EQ section to shape your guitar’s output to suit your playing style and performing environment, as well as presence controls to give your signal an appropriate lift where needed.

Posted on 25/01/2016 by Bought this guitar last week. I've been looking for a good acoustic for a while (50 years) and this one is just excellent. Really good acoustically, phenomenal amplified. Fishman preamp gives massive control over your sound whilst remaining clear and defined. Comfortable to play, well made and good looking. If you're looking for an elecro-acoustic, try one of these. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Posted on 20/12/2015 by Bought this guitar about a year ago, it was superb from the day I got it and its only got better. Beautiful rich tone and nice at the high end as well, no matter who has had a play on it they've all commented on how good the sound is and can't believe the price. I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking a nice guitar at a relatively inexpensive price and would definitely buy another if anything happened to mine.
Posted on 14/03/2015 by This guitar is amazing! I use it for everything: gigging, band rehearsals etc. and it does not disappoint. For £269, I wasn't expecting it to be this good, but it was better than some of the £600 guitars. It looks the part, feels amazing and plays great. Would I recommend? YES!
Posted on 02/04/2012 by At this price, I was not expecting too much from the guitar, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It has the touch and sound of a guitar costing probably three times as much. It would be unfair to compare this to a Martin or a Gibson, because at that level you definitely get what you pay for.

The Marina action is very easy to settle into, being as low as I like. The tone is clear, but I suspect that it will age into a mellower one over the years to come.
Would I recommend this range of guitars - very definite YES.
Posted on 29/03/2012 by These guitars play lovely! Really easy to play and is very comfortable too, has such a wide sound span, it has the acoustic bite to it but also has the softness of an acoustic all at the power of your fingertips. Wouldn't be surprised if these start to become a really big brand in the guitar world! Would I recommend this to a friend? I wouldn’t miss a heartbeat in doing so! Hope this helps anyone who's looking at buying one!
Posted on 27/03/2012 by I've been looking for a really good guitar to gig with. Of course I love the sound of the excellent Taylor and Martins but they come at a price, which I can't really afford right now. My friend has one of these Marina 10CE guitars and I tried it the other day. Sounds great plugged or unplugged with a much warmer tone than my old Westfield Electro Acoustic when it goes through the amp. At this price it looks like a winner - it's the kind of guitar that I won't pack away into its case the moment I'm finished playing for fear of it getting a scratch and as a result I'm more likely to play it everyday and gig with it too. Highly recommended.
Posted on 24/03/2012 by Just had a Marina for Christmas as my first guitar and they are amazing! Easy to play, very light with a beautiful tone, would definitely recommend them to anyone!
