The Marshall CODE100H 100 Watt Digital Guitar Amplifier Head is part of the legendary amp manufacturer's new CODE range, which offers authentically modelled renditions of their most popular amplifier models of the last five decades. This compact amp head allows you to integrate this unit into your existing live rig, and is also the perfect partner to Marshall's new CODE412 4x12 speaker cabinet. From seamless home and studio recordings, to rocking out on the stadium stage, the CODE100H puts an impressive level of power at your fingertips.
Marshall-Softube (MST) Modelling Technology
To guarantee that the peerless excellence of their preamp, power amp, and speaker cabinet designs could be modelled in all their glory, Marshall teamed up with audio software pioneers, Softube, to create Marshall-Softube (MST) modelling. The beauty of the CODE series model is that music history-shaping, career-defining tones can all be accessed in one place, offering you the following to play with: JTM45 2245; 1962 Bluesbreaker; 1959SLP Plexi; JCM800 2203; JCM2555 Silver Jubilee; JCM2000 DSL100; JVM410H and many more. From smooth blues to hardcore punk, from funk to metal, these amps have helped many a musical legend achieve their tonal dreams, now it’s time for you to pursue yours.
To complement their preamp designs, Marshall have also included a selection of power voicings too, so that you're better equipped to find your tone of choice: EL34; 5881; EL84 and 6L6. As if that wasn't enough, you can even choose between their most popular speaker cabinet designs: 1960; 1960V; 1960AX; 1960HW; 1936; 1936V; 1912 and 1974X. Accessing the tonal arsenal available to you couldn't be easier, simply plug in, adjust the preset button to one of your choosing, and you're good to go. Every single preset can be edited, which enables you to create your dream library of tones to be recalled as and when you please.
24 Professional Quality FX
To complement the outstanding array of Marshall tonal power at your fingertips, there's also 24 pro quality FX for you to integrate into your dream tone. Within the CODE100 you'll find: Compressor, classic stompbox Distortions, Auto Wah, Pitch Shifter, Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Tremolo, Delays with Tap Tempo, and studio quality Reverbs - what more could you want?
Marshall Gateway App and Connectivity
Across the front panel of the amp, you'll find a selection of knobs that give you direct access over your tone. However, in addition to the physical controls, the CODE100 is also Marshall Gateway compatible. Using your iOS or Android device you can: connect and control your amplifier's settings; connect with other CODE users; and stream audio via Bluetooth.
The Bass, Middle, Treble, Gain and Volume settings can be attenuated, as well as activating and deactivating CODE's Section Switches. Each one of the 100 editable presets can be edited within the app, and stored directly to the amp's memory. You can even share your presets with other CODE users, allowing you to collaborate with fellow guitarists around the globe.
Solid Marshall Construction
As we’ve come to expect, the enclosure is solidly built, whilst all the controls operate smoothly. Opting for a minimal look, the front panel is all black with the instantly recognisable “Marshall” logo set against it. A sturdy handle makes this lightweight (6kg) beauty very easy to transport.
Great for gigs/Perfect for recording
The compact amplifier head design allows the CODE100H to be integrated into any setup with the greatest of ease. Already it can easily power you through the largest of gigging engagements, it is perfect for use as an audio interface for home recording. Connect the CODE100H to your PC or Mac via USB to use the amp as an interface with your DAW of choice for seamless recording.
