Native Instruments add to their growing reputation for pushing the envelope of music production hardware design with the introduction of the Maschine Studio, their new flagship production workstation for the discerning music professional.
As you would expect from Native Instruments, the Maschine Studio includes all the cool and sophisticated finishing touches seen in their other much-loved Maschine models including the use of high-quality materials and an ergonomically designed button and controller layout, which offers a highly intuitive level of physical control. Every effort has gone into removing the obstacles in making music to create a functional workstation that is perfect for fast and highly precise editing on-the-fly.
Power At Your Fingertips
At your disposal are 16 touch-sensitive multi-colour pads, dedicated edit buttons, a unique level section, 8 display knobs and jog wheels that open up a host of editing functions including sampling, slicing, time-stretching and sound-shaping. The beauty of the Maschine Studio lies within the two hi-resolution display surfaces that offer up a wealth of real-time visual information such as waveform patterns, scenes, plug-in icons and the built-in mixer information. Not only does this complete the highly-stylised aesthetic of the Maschine Studio but makes relevant information directly accessible ensuring the creative process flows much more smoothly.
The Maschine Studio is an absolute powerhouse with an 8GB software library of professional quality samples, one-shots, sliced-loops, sampled instruments, presets, patterns, drum kits and projects ready to be explored, played with, controlled, manipulated and incorporated into your tracks. Not only that but the Studio even uses innovative sampling technology to emulate both the ground-breaking MPC 60 and SP 1200, both industry standard instruments in their own right. Native Instruments have built 24 professional quality studio and creative effects into the Maschine Studio with filter, EQ, delay, reverb and compressor all readily available, single-touch automation recording and tonnes of routing options, which opens up a world of possibilities.
Under the hood you'll find the powerful MASCHINE 2.0 software, allowing you to create unlimited groups, insert effects and create elaborate setups that can only be tethered by your own creativity - totally controllable through the hardware. The Maschine Studio has been designed to interact with a wide range of digital audio workstations (DAWs) as a plugins. It can run as a VST, Audio Units or AAX plug-in, offers multi-core support, it can import MIDI and REX files, MPC programs, iMaschine projects and even hosts VST and Audio Units plugins.
