A new direction for Orange sees the introduction of a line of high-power, solid state amplifiers. This new line showcases an accumulation of years of research and development into creating a set of amps that Orange would be proud to put their name to. The head unit of this new line up, the Orange Crush CR120H Head sets out to offer simplicity and power, with 120 watts of power and an easy to use, two-channel design.
The switchable, two-channel Orange Crush CR120H Head Amplifier is based on the popular Rockerverb range, giving an analogue, solid-state amp with clean and dirty channels.
Based on a two stage, two-band EQ design, the clean channel offers a warm sound that breaks up when cranked up, akin to a Rockerverb. The dirty channel, with its four stages of gain and three-band EQ, gives plenty of options for over-driven and distorted sounds. With its transparent effects loop, you can also hook up your own pedals to the Orange Crush CR120H. Alongside these options the head amp also has three built-in, natural sounding reverbs to choose from: spring, hall & plate.
Classic Orange Styling
Despite solid-state being a new avenue for the manufacturer, the Orange Crush CR120H Head Amplifier looks right at home, with the kind of aesthetics fans know and love. The beading, Orange signature picture frame edging, and hieroglyph control symbols are all in attendance, along with the famous orange chassis.
