The Orange OMEC Teleport Audio Interface is an ingenious unit that bridges the divide between devices without needing specific drivers or software. Boasting high quality AD/DA conversion via USB B connection, the Teleport is designed to enable conversion of analogue audio signals to digital, which can then be sent to your DAW or software of choice. You can even convert digital signals to be reproduced via analogue gear through mixers, D.I. boxes, amplifiers, the list is endless).
Whether you're a guitarist, bassist, drummer, vocalist, etc., the OMEC Teleport can be incorporated into any setup with ease thanks to the diminutive pedalboard-friendly chassis. If you're out on tour, practising at home, laying down tracks in the studio, the Teleport allows you access your studio software and apps with convenience wherever you are.
The OMEC Teleport features Mono IN and Stereo Out connections that allow you to play around with stereo effects from a single channel input. The buffered input offers a massive 120dB dynamic range and is microphone compatible with an XLR-jack adaptor for vocalists and acoustic instruments without a pickup. The professional-grade stereo outputs are ideal for direct connection to studio monitors, PA systems, pedals, amps and DI.
Thanks to USB 2.0 compatible connectivity communicates seamlessly with iOS, Android, Mac and PC-based hardware and software, so whatever your platform or preference, the Teleport works like a dream. The Teleport is also compatible with Jam Origin's revolutionary "MIDI Guitar" processor, effectively turning your guitar into a polyphonic MIDI controller.
As we have come to expect from the team at Orange, the OMEC Teleport is solidly built and can easily cope with anything thrown its way. Small enough to slot into the busiest of setups, the Teleport is perfect proportioned with a sleek footprint. The unit can be powered using a standard 9V power supply (as used by many pedals and stompboxes).
The Orange OMEC Teleport is supplied with AmpliTube CS software, which offers a generous suite of guitar/bass amp and effects for your iPhone, iPad and Android device. You can capture single-track (expandable to 8 tracks) performances directly to your device of choice, and then tweak your recordings to push the limits of your creativity. AmpliTube CS includes virtual representations of the OR120, Tiny Terror, Rockerverb 50, AD30 and matching Orange Cabs at no extra cost.
