The Martin Custom Shop North Street Edition D-18 combines classic Style-18 elements with centuries-old Sinker Mahogany for the back and sides. Sinker Mahogany, aged in Belize riverbeds, imparts unique attributes and minerals, resulting in a tonewood akin to the revered old growth Mahogany of the 1930s. Coupled with a modified low oval neck and dynamic Adirondack Spruce top with hand-scalloped X-bracing, this guitar embodies the essence of a Golden Era D-18, with modern playability.
