The Redwood G-15 Guitar Amplifier is an excellent starter amp for musicians who are on a budget but don’t want go without the power and features of a more expensive alternative. It fulfils a great potential at an affordable price, ideal for beginners who want to improve their playing skills or perhaps for players who want a low cost, sturdy amp for band practices.

The compact dimensions of the Redwood G-15 make it perfect as a bedroom practice amp, but with 15-watts of power through a 6.5” speaker you have give enough volume to crank things up. The amp has been fitted with a handle to making moving it around much easier and benefits from a solid construction, so it will survive getting knocked around a bit. Taking it on the road to various practice sessions is alleviated by its carry handle, and to avoid any obtrusive sharp corners, Redwood have ensured the G-15 amp has non-slip rubber edge protectors.

Despite its affordable price, the Redwood G-15 Guitar Amplifier has a number of tone shaping features, so you can pick out the sound you want. Designed with two channels, you can switch between the sound mode you want quickly and easily. The Clean channel offers a natural sound that you can shape with the amp’s 3-band EQ, while pressing the Clean/Drive button will put you onto the Overdrive channel, which has its own separate Volume and Gain controls; perfect for a louder, heavier rock sound.

When all this gets too much for your neighbours but you want to keep playing regardless, just connect a pair of headphones into the ¼ inch / 6.3mm jack socket. This will mute the speaker output, so you can carry on playing with the sound coming through your headphones. This is also a fantastic way for a new guitar player to build up confidence and test their abilities.

Posted on 28/12/2019 by It’s is a good amp , ideal for beginners, the only problem I’m having with this amp is the static on the od I don’t know if it is a faulty wire but it ruins the experience of the amp . Can anyone help me with this problem?
Posted on 18/10/2019 by I love this amp. For it's size, it's loud. I never had an amp with an EQ on it when I last had an Electric guitar so I'm struggling to get used to it but it's only been 2 days! One thing, don't make the same mistake as I did. When you have the drive on don't mix up the Volume and Gain knobs! It can end up hurting the ears. For the price and the volume well worth it. Works great as a dumbell too, it's not light and you'll soon have biceps like Arnie! (DON'T use it as a dumbell it you may drop it!)
Posted on 02/06/2019 by Purchased this, my first amplifier on line from Dawsons along with my first electric guitar, I was very pleased with the quality of the amp for the money, it's really strong and well built, controls are recessed so are quite well protected as well as being simple and easy to understand. It is quite compact but deceptively heavy due to its tough build - and it sounds really good !
Posted on 29/12/2016 by Very good value for a guitar amplifier, but it is strongest as a practice amp. The ideal tool to learn new songs - or perfect the ones you already know.
In a small room the volume can be quite loud for a 15W amp.
Would recommend this to a friend? In a word, yes.
