Description

Details

The Redwood T20 tenor ukulele is bigger in scale than both soprano and concert ukuleles, which gives this model a much richer, fuller sound. The tenor ukulele is great for performers who're looking for a model that will slot into an ensemble sweetly, or sound just as sweet for soloists. For those who find the shorter scale sopranos and concerts a little unwieldy, the tenor accommodates larger hands perfectly.

Ukulele skills are also transferable to many other fretted instruments, and can be a great introduction for younger children wishing to learn the guitar. Ukuleles are easy to learn, and great fun for musicians of all ages and levels.

The T20 body has been built using laminated mahogany, a tonewood that produces lush, warm tones with a tough of brightness. Thanks to the laminated body, this model is resilient when it comes to dealing with changes in humidity and temperature, making it a fantastic travelling companion. Fitted to the body is a solid neck, which has been partnered with an 18-fret composite wood fingerboard. The longer scale length offers a greater tonal range to play with.

Composite wood has been used to craft the bridge, providing a responsive yet seamless connection between the strings and body. The nut supports the strings at the head to improve sustain and intonation, whilst the tuners uphold tuning integrity with absolute precision. The T20 has been given a sumptuous natural finish, allowing the laminated mahogany's grain to shine through in all its glory.

Whether you're a beginner, or a seasoned pro, the Redwood T20 tenor ukulele would make a fine addition to any musician's collection.

Posted on 09/09/2014 by Hi all, I went to try this instrument for size etc. but the model in the shop had a problem with the strings, the guys in the shop were very helpful when I decided to buy one, they restrung it while I waited with quality Aguilla strings at no extra cost! It has a really nice sound and is easy to play.
