Welcome to the Roland AC-33 Acoustic Guitar Amp, the first ever battery-powered amplifier that is designed entirely for use with an acoustic guitar. For such a compact, portable amp it offers a very powerful, stereo sound output, with two available channels, custom effects, looper and a very useful anti-feedback switch. Unlike many preceding acoustic amplifiers, the AC-33 is battery-powered, so you can take it anywhere you want to go. It comes in a striking rosewood finish that shows all the beauty in the natural wooden grains.
GREAT STEREO SOUND
The AC-33 is built using the latest Roland DSP technology that gives it that unique rich acoustic output, and although it is a small and compact amp it can produce an incredibly powerful, full-bodied timbre. Built with true stereo dual channel setup (2 x 15 watt speakers), this generates a stereo / multi-band chorus which sounds fantastic. It also has a "wide" mode included as well as a clear reverb that is specifically designed just for an acoustic guitar.
The AC-33 has two channels, Guitar and Mic / Line Input, both of which have designated controls for volume, multi-band EQ and chorus. It caters for you to plug in both an acoustic guitar and a mic at the same time, or two people can plug in and play their acoustics at the same time. If you feel like jamming along to some of your favourite songs, the Roland AC-33 also has an AUX input to plug in an external audio device. If you want to save a layer of something then the AC-33 has a handy Phrase Looper with up to 40 seconds of record time.
Roland also acknowledge that it is fundamental to try and minimalise the possibility of feedback, so they included a great little button to activate the anti-feedback function.
The most versatile feature of the AC-33 amp is that it is battery-operated and has a removable cartridge at the back to easily replace batteries when you need to. The amp also has a built-in tilt stand which can improve your overall sound projection.
The Roland AC-33 is a compact and easily portable acoustic guitar amplifier which sure doesn't compromise on a powerful sound output.
