The Roland BK 3 Backing Keyboard won’t leave you wanting, with built-in sounds and rhythms from around the globe. 850 tones and 50 drum kits are in place for expressive melody playing and accompaniment, and the keyboard is compatible with GM2, GS, and XG Lite formats.
Backing Track Rhythms Playback
With compatibility with WAV and MP3 audio, SMF, and Roland rhythms it’s easy to use your own backing tracks via a USB storage device. The Centre Cancel function can be used to reduce the vocals on songs, for use in karaoke and minus-one playing and the playback tempo and song key can also be adjusted to suit your performance.
The Roland BK-3 Backing Keyboard comes with a built-in and easy-to-use audio recorder. Activated via a front panel button the recording function allows you to quickly capture your performances to a USB storage device, as a CD-quality WAV file. This excellent function makes it easy to evaluate your performance and to easily take your tracks to your computer to be burned to CD or to be worked on further.
Roland Wireless Connect Compatibility
There’s even more fun to be had with the Roland BK-3 Backing Keyboard with Roland Wireless Connect compatibility. Connect a Roland WNA1100-RL Wireless USB Adapter to the keyboard and it can communicate with a number of free iOS apps on your iPhone. A few of the apps available include: Air Recorder, which lets you record audio created on the BK-3 on to your iPhone and Lyrics Viewer, which displays SMF song lyrics on your iPad.
