The Roland Blues Cube Stage amplifier delivers exceptional tonal versatility, power and control that will blow you away. The classic 1 x 12" combo guitar amplifier has been given the unique Tube Logic treatment, which carefully models the behaviour and response of vintage tube amplifiers to the finest detail.
The Blues Cube Stage has been designed to cater to the needs of guitarists in virtually every situation that arises. Thanks to the adjustable power output switch, the maximum volume level can be attenuated to 0.5 W, 15 W, 45 W or 60 W. Therefore, you can really drive the signal level to get a warm, creamy output, without annoying your neighbours when practising at home. But if you're taking to the stage and need more power, simply flick the switch and you're good to go - no waiting for tubes to warm up. The custom 12-inch speaker has been carefully designed to project the signal impeccably.
Tube Logic circuitry redefines the capabilities of non-tube amplifiers. Roland's amp design team have worked tirelessly to guarantee that the Blues Cube Stage amplifier recreates the smooth and delicate warmth produced by an all-tube amplifier with incredible accuracy. Access to an incredible wealth of sonic versatility is available through the two independent channels on offer: Clean and Crunch.
For superb clean tones that offer incredibly expressive tones with a delicately balanced output across the frequency range - subtle lows with bouncy mids and lilting highs - the Clean channel is perfect for accessing distinctive yet laid back sounds. Control comes in the simplified form of a single Volume knob, with Boost and Tone switches to give your output that extra degree of bite and articulation. For more aggressive styles, the Crunch channel is on hand with an extra Gain control that allows the Blues Cube Stage to roar. The Dual Tone button allows you to create your own unique blend of both Clean and Crunch to stunning effect, which is particularly useful for solo performers who want to play a choppy rhythm with an underlying clean or hot lead tone.
The Reverb effect allows you to dial in a rich and complex feeling of depth, giving you greater control over your signal output. The three-band EQ section allows you to mould your signal to suit your playing style, musical style, or playing environment. The Master Volume control controls the overall output signal level. With regard to external effects pedals you have two choices with the Roland Blues Cube Stage. The High or Low inputs enable you to connect either humbucker or single-coil equipped guitars without any fuss.
Along the rear panel there are additional jacks for attaching an optional footswitch (sold separately) such as a GA-FC Foot Controller, which enables remote switching for channel selection and Dual Tone mode, as well as a headphone output and a Line output. The USB output means that you can record your amp's tones directly into a computer and DAW of your choosing.
The versatility, power and control offered by the Blues Cube Stage makes it fantastic if you're looking for a lightweight and compact amplifier with masses of power. The tonal depth and breadth produced by the Tube Logic circuitry is amazing, and just goes to show why Roland are so greatly respected throughout the industry. Whether you're a bedroom noodler or a limelight lover, the Roland Blues Cube Stage is the perfect performing partner.
