The Roland Roland KC-80 3-Channel Mixing Keyboard Amplifier features a newly redesigned 50-Watt amplifier that works in harmony with the driver and tweeter to deliver legendary KC sound. This unwavering keyboard amp is perfect for practices and performing on the go.
On-board three channel mixer with microphone input
Although thought of as a keyboard amp, a key feature of this KC series amp is the on-board 3 channel mixer and the varied connectivity which it offers. The first channel has dual use as either a XLR microphone input or line level 1/4" jack input. Channels 2 and 3 both offer 1/4" jack connectivity, great for connecting your keyboard to, although they could be used for other instruments.
Each of the 3 channels has its own level control on the top of the amp, meaning you can set up the perfect mix easily. On top of this there's a pair of RCA connectors which are a great fit when connecting playback equipment such as smartphones or MP3 players, a useful feature for both practice and performance.
50 watts of power
The KC-80 is the junior of the KC family, offering a tidy 50 watts of power. This may not be the most powerful keyboard amplifier on the market, but it wasn't designed to be. This level of output is great as a home practice amp, for reasonable on stage re-enforcement during gigs or as a dedicated amplifier at more intimate performances.
Optional subwoofer and line out outputs
For those times when you do need more power Roland have added a pair of great breakout options. The line out connection is a fairly standard feature, but an appreciated one none-the-less. You could use this 1/4" jack output to easily give a sound engineer a feed of everything that you're sending to the KC-80. The subwoofer out is a bit more of a unique feature, letting you connect the amp directly to a compatible subwoofer to add some real depth to your output. Want to shape your sound even further? There's a dedicated 2-band EQ to do just that.
All of the essential features that make Roland KC amps great are right here on the KC-80, even though it's the most portable of the series. If you need great sound for practices and smaller gigs, this is the best amp for you.
