The MC-707 has an eight-track sequencer that was designed for the modern electronic and dance-focused music producer. The TR-REC step sequencer harks back to those legendary Roland drum machine whilst 16 RGB pads let you create drum, bass and synthesizer patterns to produce your own original music. You can combine loops and one-shots with your own MIDI sequences and imported audio recordings. You can sync any imported audio with the MC-707's tempo or process it with the arsenal of onboard effects and controls, whether that's your voice or other instruments. The sequencer even stores your knob movements, letting you create amazing sweeps or add huge reverb to a single snare hit.
There's plenty of ways to get stuck in with MC-707 in a physical way. Faders are available for each track to let you set your levels and all the knobs can be assigned to whichever parameter control you need for your sound and you can also automate all of your knob movements for live playback. The 8x2 pad array serves the dual purpose of letting you input beats and lead lines but you can also use it to trigger audio and MIDI clips, as well as letting you enter chords with velocity. The MC-707 is designed to fit easily into your existing studio set up and you can record all eight parts to individual DAW tracks and finish your song elsewhere. Sample sounds from your DAW to get backing tracks, stems or your favourite software synth.
