The Squier Classic Vibe ‘50s Telecaster in gorgeous Butterscotch Blonde, delivers classic Tele’ style with modern appointments that allow it to perform like a dream. The Telecaster is very much the working musician's guitar given their versatility and the reliability, and these guitars are built for all manner of abuse on the road or in the studio.

The body has been shaped to the distinctive single-cutaway Telecaster body profile, with pine being employed as the tonewood of choice. Pine has a more focused midrange tone than other tonewoods, giving it a punchy tone that is suited to a wide range of musical styles. The shapely Tele' curves make the body a joy to wield, whilst the cutaway makes it comfortable to access the upper frets.

Fitted to the body is a slender modern "C" profile maple neck, designed to play fast and free. Married to the neck is a maple fingerboard, which is shaped to a 9.5" radius to accommodate smooth string bends, comfortable chord playing and fast playing-styles. The 21-fret fingerboard is adorned with black dot position inlays that guide your way in style.

The Squier Classic Vibe ‘50s Telecaster is equipped with Custom Vintage single-coil Tele' pickups in the neck and bridge positions, with control coming in the form a 3-position pickup selector switch, and Master Volume and Master Tone pots.

The setup may be simplistic, but thanks to the ingenious design, a complex range of tones can be plucked from this pair of beauties. Fender have included brass saddles on the Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster to give the guitar extra brightness and clarity in the bridge pickup. Together with the maple fingerboard this creates a super twangy guitar, which is great for country playing, as well as modern punk/pop bands that prefer a hard edge to their tone. That's not to say it's confined to these genres. Simply flick the switch to the neck position and you can obtain rich blues' tones.

In order to craft the finest instrument possible, Squier has pored over every detail to create an impeccable guitar. The high-level of quality to the finish will amaze both beginners and seasoned pros, and at this price it leaves more expensive models trailing in its wake.

Posted on 18/11/2018 by It took a lot of browsing of web reviews and YouTube reviews of this guitar before I was finally convinced that it was the right guitar for me. I have not been disappointed. Out of the box the setup was perfect for my taste and it only needed marginally re-tuning. It's comfortable to play and well-balanced. The quality and finish is really impressive as is the sound & looks. To my ears, it sounds like a Fender vintage guitar the only "give away" is the the word "Squire" on the headstock. At this price, I fail to see how it could be bettered and I would recommend it to anybody wanting a good-quality instrument at a very fair price. The 12 month interest-free credit takes some of the sting out of the payment process. Dawsons service, as ever is second to none and I look forward to buying many more products from them.
Posted on 11/07/2018 by Guitar plays great! Build quality is outstanding.
Garnished neck and the finish on the body make this guitar look alot more expensive than what it is.

Posted on 08/09/2016 by I sold a Mexican tele some years back, and always regretted it. I have also owned USA strats in the past, this 50's Classic Vibe Squire Telecaster straight out of the box is simply fantastic. Beautiful finish, great action with no fret Buzz on any point of the neck. Put through a simple effects box the range of tones is beyond belief. Heavy rock, funk, pop, country rock, ballads, this guitar goes from clean to twangy to rock at the click of a button. Buy one, it will make you smile every time you play it.
Posted on 02/09/2014 by Received this Tele from Dawsons three weeks ago. Haven't put it down since! Superb in every way, finish, feel and sound not to mention build quality. I own far more expensive guitars; Fenders, Gibsons PRS etc, but this is up there with them. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this guitar what ever your ability.
Posted on 07/07/2014 by Bought one over 2 years ago. Really pleased. Seems to play better each time I use it. Highly recommend it.
Posted on 15/06/2012 by This blows away most other guitars at this price point and even some costing more. Craftsmanship is superb with the frets & neck playing very well indeed. The pickups are good, and it was set up well from the shop. It's a great platform for modifications that will grow with your playing...just buy one - you won't be disappointed!!!
