The Squier Classic Vibe 70s Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar is the latest addition to Fender's affordable Squier range. Although considered a budget/beginner range don't let that fool you into thinking that these guitars aren't serious machines. Squier guitars work just as well for touring musicians as they do for the newbie and the Classic Vibe 70s is no exception, combining vintage aesthetic with modern features to make a guitar that emanates style and tone in equal measure.

Classic Looks, Modern Spec

Originally designed as a weight relief exercise the original Thinline Tele was created as a response to dwindling supplies of lighter tonewoods. The Classic Vibe 70s Tele recreates the semi-hollow design with a Poplar body, giving a larger than life sound. Poplar is well known for being one the most versatile tonewoods, so whether you want to play rock, country, or blues this guitar can handle it all.

A maple, 'C' shape neck gives a playing comfortability that handles double stop bends or shred scale runs in equal measure. The Maple fingerboard lets your hands glide easily over the neck with precision and the comfortable 9.5-inch radius lets you play with aplomb. With 21 narrow tall frets, you're assured of hitting every note and the black dot inlays ensure you never lose your way.

Powerful Electronics, Reliable Hardware

The Squier Classic Vibe 70s features a pair of Fender-Designed Wide Range Humbucking pickups that provide fat and warm tone, equally capable of handling harder rock styles as well as country, jazz and blues guitar, making for one versatile machine. With a three-way pickup selector and individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, the sound you're looking for is never too far away.

Unusually for a Telecaster, this guitar features a six-saddle bridge setup giving you rock-solid intonation and plenty of options for customisation, whether you want to set-up for big country bends or fast riffing and soloing. Coupled with a reliable set of Vintage-Style tuning machines this guitar upholds it's tuning conscientiously to ensure that no matter what you're playing you stay in tune.

The Squier Classic Vibe 70s Telecaster Thinline is an outstanding guitar at a fantastic price point, perfect for the newbie guitarist or the more seasoned musician looking for something to practice or jam on.
