Connecting by the included ¼-inch TRS cable, the Strymon Multiswitch unlocks the full potential of your rig, by giving a simple remote means of accessing the presets of the TimeLine, BigSky, and Mobius, with a choice of three modes. It also gives full access to all of the TimeLine’s looping functions, including three additions.

TimeLine Looper Control

Teamed up with the TimeLine Looper, the Strymon Multiswitch extends the pedal’s features by giving full, hands-free control over the looper’s functions in a simple and compact form. It doesn’t end there, however, as it also unlocks three previously unavailable features, which are: Reverse, Half Speed, and Undo/Redo. The Multiswitch can be used in two ways with the TimeLine Looper; 3-button or 6-button.

The 3-button looper layout is the simplest use of the Multiswitch, with no need to hold the TAP switch to move into Looper Mode, all functions are ready from the off. From the left, the buttons function as: Record/Overdub, Play, and Stop.

The 6-button layout opens up the rest of the options. The previous functions are available as above but hold the TAP switch on the TimeLine to move into looper mode and the buttons on the Strymon Multiswitch change (from left to right) to: Reverse, Half Speed, and Undo/Redo.

Three Set-ups

Aside from the functions specific to the TimeLine Looper, the Strymon Multiswitch can be used with the TimeLine, BigSky, and Mobius in three different ways, so you can choose the option fit for the purpose. These options are: Bank Mode, Preset Mode, and Tap Mode.

Bank Mode

The left switch moves present banks down, the right moves up a bank and the middle cycles through the options in the currently selected bank.

Preset Mode

Scroll down through individual presets with the left switch, up through presets with the right and use the middle switch to engage/bypass the currently selected preset.

Tap Mode

Like Preset Mode, the left switch scrolls down through presets, and the right; up, but here the middle switch acts as a tap tempo, for setting delay tempo or modulation speed.
