The Tanglewood Evolution IV TSF CE Electro Acoustic Guitar offers a smaller, more comfortable shape that offers a loud voice acoustically or plugged in. Designed to give fingerstyle players a more comfortable playing experience, this guitar would also be excellent for travelling with or for smaller players who struggle with larger models.

Super Folk to the Rescue

With its Super Folk shape, this guitar is a bit larger than a parlour but smaller than a dreadnought. It is for its smaller dimensions and distinct curves that the Tanglewood Evolution IV TSF CE will find favour with fingerstyle players, and those after a less cumbersome guitar that is still loud. The dimensions here also help the instrument to provide a focussed, balance sound that is very usable in most genres, even if you’re strumming, chords are clearly defined.

A Longstanding Partnership

The longstanding partnership of a spruce top and mahogany back and sides has been employed in the construction of this guitar. Two woods that are often seen together, they offer a broad spectrum of tones that will have you covered for most genres.

The spruce top alone provides incredible range, with crisp highs, warm mids, and deep lows all at your disposal. It is also known for resonating well, as it has good elasticity but is also strong. Mellowing the overall sound, the mahogany at the back and sides brings warmth to the mids and lows.

Standard Scale Length

The Tanglewood Evolution IV TSF CE Electro Acoustic Guitar may have a more compact body shape but it ensures playing consistency alongside other guitars with its full 650mm scale length, so you don’t have to change the way you play to fit.

Making up the scale length is a compensated nuBone saddle and black ABS bridge pins with a white dots in a rosewood bridge at one end, and a 43mm nuBone nut at the other. In-between the two is a mahogany neck, topped by a rosewood fingerboard with dot position inlays. The headstock is equipped with chrome, small button tuners.

Built-in Fishman Electronics

The focussed tone of the Tanglewood Evolution IV TSF CE Electro Acoustic Guitar can be taken to any venue, with the inclusion of a Fishman Presys preamp and pre-wired Sonicore pickup allowing you to connect to a P.A. system or amplifier. You also have a selection of tone carving options at the body of the guitar, with a 3-band EQ and Phase switch, alongside the volume control, built-in tuner, and low-battery indicator LED.
