The Taylor GS Mini-e Koa Standard Electro Acoustic Guitar adds a touch of the exotic to one of Taylor's best selling portable guitars. Complete with delicious looks, highly impressive specification and a modest price tag, the GS Mini-e Koa Standard does not fail to impress.

The body of the GS Mini-e koa Standard is crafted from layered koa for the back and sides, and Hawaiian koa for the top. This not only looks rich and complex but adds some really earthy fundamental tones. The GS mini shape of the body measures in at 17 5/8" length, 14 3/8" width and 4 7/16" depth. The GS Mini-e Koa Standard may be a portable guitar, but the sound is full and rich, even compared to standard full sized guitars.

The beautiful sound is complimented by the fluid feel. This is partly due to the tropical mahogany neck complete with ebony fingerboard. Like the top, the neck is finished in a varnish that allows for swift movement up and down the neck, without any build up of "stickiness" that can happen on longer playing sessions.

Taylor GS Mini-e Koa Standard Electro Acoustic Guitar is fitted with an ES-B pickup. This single-source, behind-the-saddle transducer uses individual elements for each string. To further shape the sound to your liking, you get a custom-voiced EQ and dynamic response active controls. The ES-B pickup is powered by a pair of 3V batteries, the levels of which are displayed via the LED power indicator.

The GS Mini-e Koa Standard is a beautiful guitar, and you'll want to keep it that way. To help you with this, Taylor have included a GS Mini Hard Bag with each guitar. Finally, each guitar comes already fitted with a set of Elixir phosphor bronze medium gauge strings, so you can appreciate the full quality of sound and feel of the Taylor GS Mini-e Koa Standard Electro Acoustic Guitar as soon as you get it home.

Posted on 16/07/2018 by I have always wanted to own a Taylor Guitar, particularly Koa, and after researching I decided to purchase this guitar. It arrived today and I am just amazed by it. The guitar itself is beautiful, the case it comes in is well padded and matches the design of the guitar so well. I then tuned the guitar and had a little play. The sound that this guitar makes is simply stunning. It is naturally loud just as an Acoustic and I can't wait to hear it plugged in. Dawson's were amazing too, delivery was extremely speedy and I was kept up to date the whole way through which allowed for a smooth delivery.

Overall, I am in love with this guitar and can't wait to get playing it properly!
Posted on 18/03/2018 by Bought this guitar for my husband for Christmas. He had his eye on a £2500 Martin but the salesman persuaded me that he would not be disappointed with this one. He was right. He loves it! The action, the tone, the playability.... easiest guitar he's ever played and it sounds beautiful too.. so much so that he's buying another!
Posted on 03/11/2016 by Bought this guitar a few months ago having played a few Taylor Guitars last year in a Guitar Centre in NYC which blew me away with their tone and playability - much preferred high end Taylor's to high end Gibson's on those I tested. I did try a Mahogany Mini-E which just amazed me with the tone out of that little guitar, but really wanted the more expensive but beautiful Koa version which is what I have. I have a few full size dreadnoughts - the Taylor is as loud as, if not louder than my Epiphone EJ200ce unplugged - with a much smaller body.

Very happy with it.
