The Tom'sline ABL-1 Bass Limiter guitar pedal is a low power consumption, ultra low noise operation amplifier, limiter pedal designed for electric bass. The green coloured brushed metal effect of the aluminium alloy chassis marries good looks with the strength to withstand onstage stomping.
The ABL-1 Bass Limiter has three knobs for you to sculpt your sound with and works much like a compressor, however, it specialises in low-end limiting so is perfect for taming your bass sound. The 'Attack' knob controls the time before the limiter starts to work and the 'Threshold' knob controls at what level you want the signal to be compressed. The 'Volume' knob, as you'd expect, controls the level of the effect. Whether you want to completely squash the notes or just subtly alter your tone this pedal has the options to do both and everything in between.
The pedal can be powered by either a 9V adapter or 9V battery and the LED Indicator is bright enough to be seen on any stage. If you're using a battery the LED will dim when power is low so you're forewarned if you're low on power. As is standard on a stompbox the input jack is on the right and the output on the left.
It's imperative to have reliable and robust gear when you're playing on stage and the Tom'sline ABL-1 Bass Limiter is no exception. The chassis is solid and built to stand firm against the heaviest foot. The pedal switch is True Bypass so you can rest assured it won't colour your tone whilst disengaged.
